On Friday 30th November ten year 12 Geography students visited the Hazard Conference in Euston, London where they listened to lectures from top professors such as David Redfern and Iain Stewart to name but a few.

The focus on the day was the idea that ‘disasters don’t kill people, buildings do’ and we looked at the predictions for future tectonic hazardous events as well as the implications of adaptation and mitigation strategies in a variety of places across the globe.
