Year 12 BTEC Business pupils visited local building development Castle View Retirement Village to present their market research findings to Project Manager and ex-boy Robin Hughes. Pupils created and carried out some market research to investigate the menu preferences of the aged 55+ target audience who will be purchasing the retirement homes.
After visiting Windsor town centre and carrying out the market research, pupils analysed the data and created a presentation of their findings. Working on a ‘real life’ project like this enables pupils to bring the theory of their course to life and helps them develop key employability skills.
Robin was delighted with the research and the manner in which the pupils presented it to him in such a professional manner. Well done gentlemen.
