U15 v JMA National Cup 1st Round 11/10/2017

A dominant performance from the boys saw them romp to victory over John Madjeski Academy (JMA). Dylan Harbridge got the opener inside the first five minutes with Gabe George grabbing the second shortly after. A slight lapse in concentration in defence let JMA back in the game but the boys managed to extend their lead, with Gabe grabbing his second scoring direct from a corner, by two at half time.

A couple of changes in the second half by JMA put the boys under pressure momentarily until Archie Hall picked out a superbly timed run by man of the match Gabe to slot his third to get his hat trick for the day. JMA heads were down and confidence sapped but Windsor carried ploughed through, this time Ben Kendall getting himself on the scoresheet with a cheeky chip on the back post, making it 5-1 with ten minutes to go. Max Wyld’s excellent performance was capped with a wonder strike on the edge of the box, after Gabe managed to record his fourth for the afternoon. Concentration from a corner let us down again as JMA were left unmarked at the edge of the box to get their second consolation for the afternoon. Thankfully the game was already won and the final result was 7-2.
