After two earlier rounds The Windsor Boys’ School qualified for the final top of the table, however prior to the final all previous points are erased and it is only the results on the final day that count. Up against local rivals Charters and Claires Court in straight three way competition, every race was a straight final.
After the track events that saw victories for Ekene Ijeomah (200m) and Jude Van Spall (1500m) Windsor were well placed in second only to points behind Charters. Confidence was high going into the field events, knowing that recently, the field events have been a major strength of this team. It proved once again that this team are superior in the field. Of the five field events (10 athletes in total) The Windsor Boys’ School gained four first places (Ekene Ijeomah in the Long Jump, Elliot Tulley in the Javelin, Michael Davis in the Shotput and Lio Owona in the High Jump) and five second place finishes sealing an emphatic victory.
