This year’s Contemporary Art Fair went very well. Students Zander MacKay and Zain Tauseef assisted in hanging the work before the private view on Friday evening. It was a great turn out and the work got a lot of attention from staff who attended and other guests and the general public over the weekend. Zander sold all of his 5 pieces and there was lots of interest in Sascha Lim’s photographs, Brendan Haig’s paintings and Zain’s photographs.
This is a great opportunity for the art and photography students to exhibit their work alongside professional artists and photographers. It enables them to see what is being made and what is selling at present and gives an insight in to the real world of art and design on a professional level.
As always the boys did the school proud. Well done and thank you to all involved, including parents who helped to take the work down and get it back to the Art department.
